To me this movie is a very heart touching movie about a young boy who is trying to find himself in high school and just wants to belong to something but he is socially awkward with people and doesn't have very good communications skills which makes it hard for him to have friends . He is a freshman in high school and the only friend he had killed himself and now he doesn't have any friends to hangout with . He is bullied  in school for being smart and a head of everyone else in class . Then one day at a football game at the school he attends he manages to build up enough courage to talk to someone he recognizes from his class . Charlie the main character finally makes a friend and then a girl comes along which Charlie falls in love from the very first time he sees her . A few weeks into the relationship with his new friends they start to see how Charlie really is and understands why he is so alone all the time . Charlie was molested by his Aunt Helen but he never told anyone about  and after the Aunt left his house she was killed in a car crash and Charlie blames himself for that . 2 months of hanging with his friends Charlie ends up in a relationship with a friend the he really didn't care about but felt bad and didn't want to say no . While playing truth or dare with his group of friends Charlie is dared to kiss the prettiest girl in the room and he kisses Sam the girl he had fallen in love instead of his girlfriend and that incident causes them to not talk to him anymore .Charlie suffers from PTSD ,social anxiety ,and depression ,he gets the symptoms very bad and causes him to black out and not remember what he did . Charlie reunites with his friends when his friend Patrick who is gay is getting beat up by football players during lunch . He blacks out while fighting then when he comes back to life he sees the football boys on the ground and doesn't remember what happened . You have to watch the movie to find out what happens next . To me this movie is a movie that everyone can love and watch over and over . Most high school kids can relate to this . This movie is longer in theaters but is on television and on DVD . I recommend everyone to watch this movie .

Last week I blogged about going to go watch the quiet ones, so I went to go watch it and it wasn't what I expected it to be . The movie was way to confusing on the way it started and how it ended . The movie was not scary at all like they said it was going to be . To me the most interesting part was the end when everything started to fall together and it made you want to watch more but you couldn't cause it was the end already . The movie in general was not good to watch it took way to long to settle into everything and to finally figure out what was going on with the girl . I don't recommend you guys to waste your money on watching this movie . The movie producers need to start making better movies and not a different movie about the same thing over and over .

 Today I am going to watch ''The Quiet Ones '' , I can't really blog about this because I haven't seen it yet and because it also comes out today but I will blog about it next week .  I am looking forward to this movie being good because I've seen some reviews on it and the movie seems pretty interesting and hopefully its scary like they say it is . From watching the trailers for this movie it seems like its like every other scary movie out there today . Hopefully this movie turns out to be good and I didn't have to waste my money

OCULUS

 

 

This week I went to go watch the movie Oculus which is about two kids who have a rough family history that they want to clear and the movie is mainly about an evil  mirror who plays with people's mind and turns them evil and causes them to do bad things . The two children witness there dad murder there ill mom and the son gets sent to jail for killing there father . The movie jumps back and forth from present to the past showing the children when they were younger and the experience they went through with mirror. The movie has a good story line  but it is to slow for a scary movie some parts started to take to long to explain the whole purpose of what the mirror did . At points the movie got really boring and I wanted to walk out of the movie but I didn't want to be rude about it . This movie is more of a suspense movie than a horror movie . This week I went with a couple of friends to go watch Divergent . The movie is like The Hunger Games and The Host combined in one . Divergent is a really good movie ,there is lots of twists and turns that keeps you on your feet . This movie goes by kind of slow and is very long but you have to pay close attention to the character and there traits ,they play a big key in understanding the movie . There are two main characters Trice and Four ,they are both divergent but Trice doesn't know that Four is just like her .In the movie there town in split into five factions .The first faction is Abnegation which is the selfless people who put others before their own and try to give to the factionless  ,The Second one is Erudite which is which is for the smart people  , The third is Dauntless known as the brave they are considered the army of where they live , The fourth but not last is Amity which is the peaceful people who work on getting the food for the village to eat  , The fifth and final is the Candor the honest people who can never tell a lie. The movie is the teens get to chose what faction they think is best for them but they take a test to tell them which one is good for them .Trice the main character takes the test and finds out she is divergent which  is no good ,they main people in charge do not like divergent people so they kill them Trice has to act normal and act like she is one of  the factions she choses . So long story short Trice and Four fall in love with each other and the government tries to take over the people and they put these devices in the dauntless and make the dauntless try to kill the people so Trice and Four fight back .I'm not going to tell you who wins ,you have to watch it for yourself .

Blog 1 Week1

My 20% group went to go watch Insidious Chapter2. 

Insidious: Chapter 2 starts where the last film left off. The Lambert family is still haunted. The body of Josh Lambert  is possessed by the spirit of a mysterious bride in black, but they do not know it they think their house is  the one being haunted . The wife Renai should know it because she sees a picture of her husband as the mysterious bride in black but she isn't in her right state of mind due to the fact that  Elise (a medium) is dead right after all this has happened. The movie starts with the wife being asked questions by the FBI due to the fact that Elise is dead and the FBI doesn't believe her story well I mean who would its hard to believe but then they move in with Josh's mom where Josh was normally possessed with the spirit .Josh knows he has that evil spirit inside him but he didn't want to tell his family. So the first night in the house the wife hears the piano playing a famliar song that she has wrote but when she goes down no one is playing the piano . Then she tells her husband what she has witness but he pays no attention because that isn't even her husband it is an evil spirit . The son has started to experience some things as well like someone talking to him and noises coming from the closet . The whole family has seen or experinced things now so the mom calls an Carl and Tucker two of Elise's finest spirit dectors or whatever you want to call them . The find an old video of Josh when he was little and when he started experincing things like as his son did . So they find all these clues to as why the husband is acting all weird and strange . Then they go to an old hospital where the mom used to work and find this clue to a lady and a crazy old man that had died there and they go to the mans house to find what they are looking for .Turns out that the house they go to is the house of the evil spirit that is hauntng Josh and they find out what to do and how to get rid of it . Later on that night the kids arrive home from a friends house not knowing that their mother is passesd out and that their father is fully possessed now . So all this chaos is going on and fighting trying to find away to escape . The wife and kids run down to the basement and look the door and put a metal object to the hold the door from the evil spirit.  The oldest son knows that the only way to bring his dad back is to fall asleep and find him in his dreams .The son falls asleep and now is the afterlife he in search for his dad and he finds his dad but the evil spirit is their and traps the son but the son beats the evil spirit and is no longer more haunting the father and now their family all back together but in the end of the movie a little girls is going through the same thing so the men Carl and Tuck go to her along with spirit of Elise and at the end Elise tells the little girl not to be scared but Elise sees something that puts a frightening look on her face and then the credits come on .
